What are Modules? What is a Module
License?
Visual Practice's
functionality is broken down into modules. Each module provides a
complete solution to one or more challenges, such as patient record
keeping, billing, scheduling, etc. Each module can be purchased based on
customer need. That way, you don't need to purchase any
functionality that you would not use.
 |
A module license
grants you the legal right to use a Visual Practice
module. Some module licenses are assigned and managed on
a per user basis. Other kinds are assigned on a per
provider basis. And some modules enable features across
the entire program, regardless of user or provider. Each
module or feature license extends new functionality to
Visual Practice. In network environments, each computer that runs Visual
Practice requires enough licenses assigned to users to allow
concurrent access to a module. Only the modules a user needs to
run on a network workstation need to be purchased - you do not need to
re-purchase the entire program. In this way, Visual Practice can be made
affordable for all users, and enables you to save money,
by not forcing you to purchase functionality or support
you don't need.
|
When you purchase a license,
it gives you the right to run a module for a user, or activate a
feature for a provider. Licenses are assigned to users or
providers. You may reorganize your licences in order to service
locums, or guest users.
