...Additional Billing/Code Analysis Reports

The OHIP Code Analysis and Billing Code/Diagnosis Code Analysis reports enable you to statistically analyze the frequency of occurrence of billing code and billing codes combined with diagnosis codes.  This is useful when the Ministry of Health restricts code use to a certain percentage of your overall billing, and is also useful from a workload point of view.  You can use these reports to determine when you are approaching a threshold of use of a particular billing code or billing code in combination with a diagnosis code.

To access the report click on the Report utton on the toolbar, select the OHIP category of reports, and finally, select Code Analysis.

You will then be offered a series of criteria, in order to refine your analysis.  This filter screen is similar to the OHIP Bill Inquiry report:

In the example shown here, we have selected the Service Date range from January 2000 to June 2000.  Note that you can sort alphabetically by Code, or by Occurrence.

Two reports will be produced.  The first is an OHIP Billing Code Analysis, as shown below:

The second report is a more refined analysis of OHIP Code in combination with Diagnosis Code.
