Software Support Service

Advanced Computer Systems Limited (ACSL) offers Software Support Service Agreements on a prepaid subscription basis.  The Software Support Service includes five key services:

Registered customers are offered Software Support Service agreement renewals one year after purchase (Visual Practice Release 2001 includes one year bundled support).  Upon receiving the offer, the customer can opt to renew the agreement, or opt out.  Customers who opt out are not deprived of the use of the program, however, the program will be frozen at the last update released upon expiration of their agreement.  There is no obligation on the part of ACSL to maintain any kind of compliance, or to supply support on any basis in the future, once a customer opts out.

A customer may opt back into the Software Support Services programme, however, a re-activation fee applies, and previous Software Support Service fees will be due up to 85% of the current purchase price of the program.

Software Support Services fees are calculated based on the number of program users, billing physicians and CPUs the program runs on.  Each customers fee is consistent will Software Support Service policy, and explanation of charges are detailed in renewal offers.  ACSL reserves the right to alter terms and conditions of the Software Support Service program at any time.
