Module Summary
The
Patient Registry contains basic identifying and demographic data
about persons who are patients. This information is used by other Visual
Practice modules as a patient information library. Provincial and
private Insurance eligibility
data is also automatically updated and maintained in this portion of Visual Practice,
thus, an up to date record of patient data is available at all times.
New to Visual Practice XP Edition - Chart
Label buttons for fast, one button printing of default chart or address
labels! Use printing defaults in User settings to automatically
send labels to a printer destination without selecting it!
Copy/Paste Address buttons for fast cutting and pasting of patient
addresses into any application. Identify a head-of-family
and Inter-link family members in the Family tab. Our new
advanced search enables you to search for patients by full or partial
contents of the first name, last name, date of birth, address, city,
province, phone numbers, chart #, card # and alternate search fields!
This module includes a Ontario
Health Card Swiper for fast patient creation and updating when using an Ontario
Health Card Reader (Screen shown below).

New to Visual Practice XP Edition - Card
Reader integration with the Booking/Scheduling system.
Automatically insert walk-in patients into the appointment schedule at
any time. Automatically insert patients into the Day
Sheet Billing list for post-appointment billing. Book a
patient for a Billing Provider other than the default Billing Provider,
yet maintain the default. Print a custom encounter form, or a
chart label (optionally) at time of patient registration!

Alerts, Cautions and Information - classify patients with an unlimited
number conditions requiring various levels of attention. User
definable Alerts, Cautions and Information message(s) can automatically
appear throughout the program when a patient is selected who has alert,
caution or information conditions on file.
New to Visual Practice XP Edition - Produce
laser printer based labels for patients and for referring physicians!
This label printing system enables you to restrict label printing to
patients belonging to a particular physician, or patients who have been
classified using the patient classification system. Additional
criteria include postal code, date of birth, service date range, gender
and roster status. This incredibly flexible label printing system
prints to industry standard laser printer labels for inexpensive bulk
printing.
