The OHIP Quickbill Module
is designed to allow users to create Visual Practice importable
billing files for fast OHIP billing of new patients, fast
OHIP billing of existing patients, either on a separate
computer offline, or on the computer you have Visual Practice
installed on. The OHIP OHIP Quickbill import facility
lets you get billings into your system in record time!

The VPL file import is accompanied
by a separate OHIP Quickbill program that can be
installed on any computer, which can be used to quickly make
Visual Practice Quick Bill List import (*.vpl) files.
More advanced users can create
their own front end applications that generate *.vpl compatible
files to automate billing tasks any way they see fit.
Legacy applications that don't have OHIP billing capability can
be OHIP billing enabled through this import facility!

This module is
very popular with customers with high-volume needs, such as
hospital departments, clinics, facilities and especially billing
services. Quick Bill effectively enables you to offload
billing to data entry staff, giving your organization maximum
flexibility in scaling your OHIP billing without spending a
fortune.
This module is
also an excellent alternative to remote control programs -
QuickBill enables you to enter patient and billing information
that can then be sent to your office via email or by disk that
can then be imported into your main copy of Visual
Practice. Patients and bills that are imported using this
method are seamlessly integrated into your normal patient and
billing data in Visual Practice!

Import Patient
Registration Information!
QuickBill supports the
import of text-based shift reports generated by Oshawa General Hospital,
Ajax-Pickering Hospital, and Trillium Healthcare Centre, using the
Meditech Admissions Report Module. Download the shift report file
from Meditech, and import all the patient data for any shift or floor at
the hospital! By importing the patient information, you can
avoid 80% of the data entry necessary to perform hospital-shift billing!

QuickBill can import the raw
output of text files that contain 2 Track Ontario health card swipes (PCR
Device based reads). This enables anyone to use a wedge-based card
reader to read health cards into a program such as notepad, save the
file, and then import the file into QuickBill.
