IntelliCard Server
Now Available!
Royal Bank Discontinues POS Terminal Device HCV Service - Use IntelliCard Server as an alternative!

The IntelliCard Server enables your health services department or institutions to validate health cards through a single, central server, connected full time to the Ministry of Health HCV service using Bell Canada Datapac or dedicated leased line/MPR TCP/IP service.  Instead of HCV requests being processed through a workstations modem and dial up connection, a high speed request is sent to the central IntelliCard Server and the validation request is performed via the connection method used by the IntelliCard Server.

The IntelliCard Server's primary benefit is central card processing through a single connection for an entire network, as well as an "always on" solution, with card response times only limited by the speed of your full time connection to the Ministry of Health's HCV service.

Virtually instant validation results can be viewed immediately, after validation, as well as later through the patient's Patient Registry entry, as shown below:

A patient's health card status is also updated as billings are accepted using the stored health card information.  When bills are paid by OHIP, the validation date and method are updated in order to indicate the last time the card was used successfully.  This ensures a patient's health card status is always as up to date as possible.

Visual Practice offers the most comprehensive, integrated, fast, and well thought out solution to health card validation on the market today.
