Billing Day Sheet Module
 |
|
Day Sheet or appointment driven
offices will appreciate the Day Sheet Billing Module's speed and
efficiency. When combined with the OHIP Billing and
Booking/Scheduling Modules, you have a complete solution for
fast billing against your Day Sheet.
Day Sheet based billing is a very
natural way for many offices to bill, especially when
appointment visit volume is high and the billing is simple
(consultations and assessments). Offices that use the
Booking/Scheduling module have already created a list of
patients for which billing is necessary.

Day
Sheet based billing leverages the information contained in your
Booking/Scheduling module. By booking a patient
appointment, your office has captured a large amount of
information which can be used to bill services delivered at that
appointment. The Billing Day Sheet enables you to select a
billing provider and a date. Once selected, the days list
of patient appointments is presented in a 'spreadsheet-like'
manner. The physician (or staff) can then 'walk' through the
list, and record OHIP codes and diagnosis for each patient
appointment. Once the physician is satisfied with the
record billing, he/she can bill them all at the touch of a
button!. No Shows can be identified and billing for them can be
skipped.
Using the patient
booking information saves a significant amount of billing time
through bypassing the OHIP billing form, which bills one patient
at a time ("invoice-style" billing). Day Sheet Billing
enables you to bill many patients, simultaneously.

Day Sheet Billing
works very well in a primary care environment and the interface
is simple enough that the physician can use it with little or no
training. Combined with two computers, networked, the Billing
Day Sheet shines, and is an 'efficency multiplier'. Billing Day
Sheet lets a physician leverage the data entry labour
done at one station (for patient demographics and scheduling)
through to the billing process. This results in a significant
time savings.
